The brand new Toronto supply service permits locals to order from Montreal’s most well-known eating places

The onslaught of the unexpected pandemic may have ruined your Montreal travel plans, but it can’t stop you from enjoying some of the best, award-winning food in town. That’s right, you can now get a taste of the incredibly innovative and endlessly creative culinary delights that Montreal is famous for without leaving the comfort of your dining room. All thanks to a new service called I Miss Montreal Food.

There is a wide variety of take-away options. Popular places in Montreal like St. Viateur, Rockaberry, Solly’s, Lester’s Deli, Tasty Food’s Pizza, Dunn’s Famous Deli, Ma Poule Mouilleee, Coco Rico, Fairmont Bagel are all just a click away.

As soon as you have made your choice, the costs will be communicated directly by the restaurants, as will the estimated delivery date, which usually only takes a few days. The delicacy is then transported right to your door without you having to move a muscle.

It’s as good as it sounds because most of I Miss Montreal Food’s customers seem unable to stop raving about the service.

Curated by Amir and Megan Epstein of Thornhill, this service allows anyone living in Toronto and the GTA area to order takeaway from any Montreal restaurant, deli or bakery on their website, and they deliver it all the way from Montreal to Toronto.

The couple understood that many people in Toronto – former Montreal residents or otherwise – wanted to bring a piece of the 514 to the 6ix, and so I Miss MTL Food was conceived.

On their website, the service prefers to see itself as “Fern-Uber Eats!”

“Whether you crave Montreal Smoked Meat from Schwartz’s, Lamb Shish Taouk from Damas or kosher sesame beef from Deli365, we have it all for you !!” it says. And that’s actually how simple it is.
