Seashores can reopen throughout Quebec beginning in the present day

Quebec’s latest phase of deconstruction just got a touch refreshing as public health cleared the reopening of beaches across the province.

The announcement was made last week in the provincial capital by the Minister of Education and the Minister responsible for the position of women, Isabelle Charest, together with the National Director of Public Health Dr. Horacio Arruda made.

The beach news was announced after gyms, indoor swimming pools and sports arenas also received the green light to reopen.

All sectors can reopen from today.

Charest said exercise and being outdoors are “an important aspect of our lives” and stressed that the “adjustments” need to be made so that everyone can enjoy their “favorite outdoor activities”.

Quebecers will continue to be expected to adhere to physical distancing and hygiene guidelines set by public health when it reopened.

Today we announce a new phase in the gradual deconfining of sports, leisure and outdoor activities.

Today has become an important start date for various sectors in Quebec, including hosting customers in Montreal restaurants, places of worship, gyms, indoor swimming pools, sports arenas, cinemas, theaters and concert halls.

The guidelines for physical distancing have also been reduced from the often mentioned two meters to one and a half meters. Indoor gatherings now allow a maximum of 50 people.
