Recall for garlic, nuts, peanuts from the Montreal grocery retailer

MONTREAL – The Quebec government has issued a warning on several products sold at Alimentation Exotique de Montreal.

The notice, drawn up in collaboration with Montreal’s Food Inspection Division and the store itself, covers packaged fresh garlic and peanuts, as well as various other nuts that are packaged in grocery stores.

The warning is due to the fact that the food has not been prepared and packaged in such a way as to ensure its safety.

The grocery store has carried out a voluntary recall of the products in question.

The products were on sale through November 9th at Alimentation Exotique de Montreal at 6695 Victoria Ave.
