In Montreal, the year 1976 is synonymous with the 1976 Montreal Olympics. We had brand new expensive sporting complexes and the world was shining a spotlight on us once again, as they had during Expo 67. While we were indeed consumed by all that was great (and not so great) about the Olympics, there was life going on in this vibrant city during the other 50 weeks of that year.
