Mtl connoisseurs take notice: Canada’s greatest cooks mixed with 10 Montreal eating places create # ChefsÀEmporter

Mtl connoisseurs take note – Chef Antonio Park started the initiative with the AP sandwich full of BBQ / kimchi flavors for Café Milano, available for a week at Uber Eats or to take away.

Sysco Grand Montréal is proud to announce its latest gastronomic initiative, # ChefsTake away. Starting today, Canada’s most talented chefs will join 10 Montreal restaurants and add a culinary masterpiece to the regular take-away menu. It’s a rare opportunity for foodies to sample some truly top-notch gourmet dishes delivered right to their doorstep. The event lasts 10 delicious weeks, with each culinary creation only available for seven days. Don’t miss any of these must-try treats! Place your order early!

The event is part of the “Keep Kitchens Open” initiative from Sysco Grand Montréal. The goal of partnering with award-winning chefs was to unite industry players and build solidarity among chefs by supporting one another and working together to promote local restaurants to bring Montreal’s food scene back to the boil.

How do I order # ChefsàEmporter?

Below you will find the list of top chefs and their dates on which they produce their special creation. You can order on over eats or contact the # ChefsÀEmporter weekly participant.

The cooking cooperations are known (see below), but the specific dishes will only be announced on Monday when it goes “live”.

Which creations will the guest chefs serve at the event? This information will be kept under lock and key until shortly before the show. But we know that: from the delicious, sophisticated dessert created by Chef Nicolas Dutertre for Gentile Pizza Parlor to the bursting at the seams submarine sandwich from Chef Antonio Park for Montreal’s famous Café Milano, there is something for every palate with it.

Supporting Montreal’s gastronomic culture has never been more appetizing! Participating cook-restaurant couples are:

This initiative will change the habits of loyal customers by giving them the opportunity to sample dishes prepared by top chefs while supporting their favorite restaurants at a time when “local shopping” has become essential.

Guillaume Dubois, CEO of Sysco Grand Montréal, says: “Since 2019, more than 2,300 restaurants have been closed in the province of Quebec, that is 10% of the restaurant industry. That’s why Sysco is committed to creating unique opportunities like this initiative to help small, independent restaurants struggling to survive in these challenging times. “
