Montreal’s greatest poutine pageant is again

Take your poutine game to the next level. In a city that is known for the best poutine around, it makes perfect sense to have a festival that celebrates Montreal’s most popular dish.

What is Le Grand PoutineFest?

From July July 13 to July 31, Le Grand PoutineFest has set up shop near the Clock Tower Quay in the Old Port (just steps from one of the city’s best urban beaches), and they have it all. Bonus: family-friendly activities for the kids (and young at heart).

What’s on the menu?

Bacon cheeseburger poutine? keto? Philly cheesesteak? Tuck into over 20 different kinds of insanely delicious poutines, like General Tao, Lobster, Korean Chicken, Vegan and a Caramel-Apple dessert version (for starters). Poutine purist? Don’t worry, there’s also a regular, no-frills poutine for you (with a gluten-free option).

What are the family-friendly activities?

Once you’ve satisfied your poutine craving, check out the carnival games (with prizes!) or the 300-foot inflatable course (maybe not immediately after eating?) for some family-friendly fun. Archibald beer and artisanal lemonade is also available to wash it all down.
