Montreal police will question the suspect and victim in an armed assault that occurred early Friday.
The incident occurred around 1 a.m. during an altercation in an apartment on Lapierre St. near Maurice-Duplessis Blvd. in Montreal North.
The victim, 31, suffered stab wounds police described as serious but not life-threatening. A 50-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene.
While the motive for the attack has yet to be determined, police say the suspect and victim know each other.
