Police were sent to the scene at 2:30 am after 911 calls reported a fire at a daycare center on Pierrefonds Blvd. near Fredmir St.

Firefighters quickly brought the flames under control and there were no injuries reported.

Police said evidence at the scene suggested the fire could have been deliberately set.

The arson squad was assigned to investigate when fires broke out at the center in May of 2021 and in February of 2020.
