He reportedly had a collision with the suspect’s vehicle, which left the scene hitting the victim in a possible case of road rage.
The suspect vehicle had been located earlier on Tuesday and the Service de police de Laval (SPL), with the assistance of the tactical intervention group of the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), arrested the suspect around 7:30 p.m.
Two charges will be filed on Wednesday: hit and run causing death and manslaughter, said Sergeant Geneviève Major of the SPL.
The victim was Stéphane Taillon, confirmed his relatives on social networks.
